About Our Founder – Cara Marbury, M.Ed. in Special Education

Cara Marbury is the founder and CEO of Spectrum Advocacy & Educational Consulting, a passionate educator, advocate, and expert in autism support with over a decade of hands-on experience in both classroom instruction and individualized education planning.

Cara began her journey as an aide in a leading non-public school while working her way through college. Her dedication and natural ability to connect with children on the autism spectrum quickly earned her a classroom of her own—and a reputation for teaching with heart, skill, and unmatched integrity.

One colleague, in nominating her for the LifeChanger of the Year Award, described her as “the best teacher I’ve ever worked with,” praising her classroom as a space of reverse inclusion and true advocacy. “She stands up for her students when they are left out or just need someone to vouch for them. She’s so connected to her students and their families, she even babysits for them on weekends. If that isn’t pure love for the success of her students, I don’t know what is.”
